What stories are we looking for?

We're interested in experiences that highlight the key issues raised in our campaign. For example:

  • Opportunity: Have you missed out on jobs because places are unwilling to employ a Disabled person? Or perhaps you have a happy story where employers made reasonable adjustments that made a positive difference?
  • Security: Have you struggled to meet basic living costs due to insufficient benefits? Do you face extra costs because of your condition or impairment?
  • Respect: Have you been impacted by negative stereotypes in the media or the attitudes of others? We want to hear your story. How do you feel when you hear politicians talking about Disabled people?

Important Note: Please only share your own stories. If you know someone who may want to share their story, help them connect with us to ensure they're giving informed consent.

Get in touch! You can contact us to arrange a convenient time. And, please let us know your accessibility requirements.
