Media
The Campaign for Disability Justice is run almost wholly by Disabled people. We work with Disabled people and organisations, who are happy to speak to the press about their experiences, with support from our team if needed.
We help journalists to connect with Disabled spokespeople to comment on:
- Disabled rights
- Social security (eg PIP, Universal Credit)
- Jobs and accessible workplaces
- Our personal experiences as Disabled people
- Public attitudes towards Disabled people, and the impact on our community
If we cannot supply a suitable spokesperson, we will put you in touch with organisations we work with, who may be able to assist.
Student journalists
We want to support all journalists, but we are a small team with limited reach. We can only give comment and interview to student journalists if:
- you are a Disabled student journalist or
- you already have a commission for a story
