Telling MPs what you think about flexible work

Thank you to everyone who shared their experiences in our latest survey on flexible working, remote or hybrid jobs, and Access to Work.

Nearly 70 people took part, contributing deep insight, lived experience, and personal expertise about what makes work possible, or impossible.

Your voices will be heard by the House of Commons Women and Equalities Committee, through the Campaign for Disability Justice response to their inquiry on Disabled people and flexible work. Their report will help shape how the Government makes plans about this issue.

The Committee’s rules mean that we can’t share what you told us, just yet. We will update you later this year.

Until then…

If you missed the survey, you can submit your own evidence to the inquiry.

Check out our cheeky cartoons on the grim reality of navigating social security, and the moment they tell us we’re too sick to work, but too well to get help.

A cartoon. A person sits bewildered, having fallen into a pit marked poverty. Two people in grey suits look down at them. One is a man labelled Government, the other a woman labelled Employers. Both are carrying ladders. The man labelled Government says in a speech bubble, “sorry we'd love to help, but you're too disabled for that ladder and not disabled enough for this one.”
